CDL/CDLF series lightweight stainless steel vertical multistage centrifugal pumps are carefully designed non-self-priming vertical multistage centrifugal pumps. They use standard vertical motors and quick-install mechanical seals, optimize the mechanical seal structure, and adopt a novel single-change structure. They can convey various media from tap water to industrial liquids, adapt to different temperature, flow and pressure ranges, and are also suitable for lightly corrosive liquids with easy replacement.

The shaft seal utilizes a mechanical seal made of carbide and fluororubber, enhancing pump reliability and maintaining the temperature of the pumped medium.
The overall structure is compact, small, lightweight, low-noise, significantly energy-efficient, and easy to maintain.
The multi-stage pump's inlet and outlet are located on the same level as the pump base, allowing for direct integration into pipelines.
Utilizing a standard motor, the pump can be customized to meet specific needs. An intelligent protector can also be added as needed to effectively protect the pump against dry-running, phase loss, and overload.
Installation Steps
Step 1 – Preparation Before Installation
Check the pump and accessories for any damage during transportation.
Verify specifications (model, power, voltage, capacity, head) match your requirements.
Ensure the foundation is level, solid, and able to bear the pump's operating load.
Prepare necessary tools and materials (wrenches, bolts, gaskets, sealing tape).
Step 2 – Positioning the Pump
Place the pump vertically on the prepared base or platform.
Align the anchor bolt holes with the base plate holes.
Ensure enough space around the pump for future maintenance and ventilation.
Step 3 – Connecting the Piping
Connect the inlet and outlet pipes according to the flow direction marked on the pump body.
Use flexible connectors or compensators to reduce vibration and stress on the pump casing.
Ensure the piping is self-supported to avoid extra load on the pump.
For the "F" type stainless steel pump, use appropriate gaskets to prevent galvanic corrosion.
Step 4 – Electrical Wiring
Connect the motor according to the wiring diagram inside the motor terminal box.
Make sure the power supply voltage and frequency match the motor nameplate.
Install an overload protection device or motor protection circuit breaker.
Verify the pump rotation direction by briefly jogging the motor – it should match the arrow on the pump casing.
Step 5 – Priming the Pump
Before starting, fill the pump and suction pipe completely with liquid.
Open the inlet valve fully and slightly open the outlet valve.
Ensure there is no air trapped inside the pump to prevent dry running.
Step 6 – Test Run and Adjustment
Start the pump and gradually open the outlet valve to the required flow rate.
Check for abnormal noise, vibration, or leakage.
Monitor pressure, flow rate, and motor current during operation.
Adjust the outlet valve to achieve the desired working condition.
Additional Installation Notes
Install a filter at the inlet to prevent solid particles from entering the pump.
In systems with a high suction lift or long pipelines, consider installing a foot valve or vacuum pump for priming.
For outdoor installations, provide a protective cover to prevent direct exposure to rain or sunlight.
Regularly check the mechanical seal, bearings, and coupling for wear.
