NYP high viscosity rotary pump is a displacement pump specially designed for conveying high viscosity media, widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, food, and medicine. The NYP series rotary pump is particularly suitable for the transportation of viscous liquids due to its high efficiency, stability, and strong adaptability.
Working Principle
Basic structure:
It consists of an inner toothed rotor, an outer toothed rotor (installed eccentrically with the pump body), front and rear cover plates, and seals.
The relative motion between the inner and outer teeth of the rotor forms multiple independent sealing chambers.
Liquid transportation:
When the rotor rotates eccentrically inside the pump casing, the volume of the sealed chamber increases at the inlet end, creating negative pressure and sucking in the liquid.
As the rotor rotates, the liquid is carried to the outlet end by the rotor, and the volume decreases to discharge the liquid.
No pulsation output:
The continuous motion of the rotor ensures smooth flow of the liquid, with no significant pulsation in the output.
Characteristics and advantages
1. High viscosity adaptability:
Suitable for conveying media with viscosity up to 10000cSt or even higher, such as resins, asphalt, adhesives, lubricants, etc.
2. Gentle delivery:
The rotor design is gentle, does not damage sensitive materials, and is suitable for shearing sensitive media.
3. High efficiency:
The flow rate is proportional to the rotational speed, resulting in high conveying efficiency and a wide range of adaptability.
4. Multiple materials to choose from:
The pump body can be made of cast iron, stainless steel, or aluminum alloy to adapt to the chemical properties of different media.
5. Heating jacket design:
Can be configured with a jacket to maintain or increase the temperature of the medium through a heat medium (steam, hot oil, etc.), making it easy to transport high-temperature or solidified liquids.
6. Excellent sealing performance:
Provide multiple sealing forms (mechanical seal, packing seal, magnetic seal) to ensure no leakage of the medium.
7. Easy maintenance:
Compact structure, easy disassembly of components, and low maintenance costs.
Technical Parameter
Flow range: 0.5-150 m ³/h
Work pressure: up to 1.6 MPa
Viscosity range: 10-100000 cSt
Temperature range: -10 ℃ to 200 ℃ (special design can reach up to 300 ℃)
Drive mode: direct motor connection, variable frequency drive or gear reducer drive
Applicable scenarios and industries
1. Petrochemical industry:
Transporting high viscosity liquids such as asphalt, lubricating oil, fuel, resin, etc.
2. Food industry:
Transporting viscous foods such as syrup, honey, chocolate sauce, cream, etc.
3. Pharmaceutical industry:
Transport paste like and liquid medicines, etc.
4. Chemical industry:
Transporting high viscosity chemical products such as coatings, paints, adhesives, etc.
5. Environmental protection field:
Transporting viscous waste such as dirty oil and sludge.
Installation and usage precautions
1.Correct selection
Select the appropriate model and configuration based on parameters such as medium viscosity, temperature, and pressure.
2.Maintain temperature:
For easily solidified media, a heating jacket should be used to maintain fluidity.
3.Prevent dry operation:
Before running the pump, ensure that the medium is filled in the pump chamber to avoid rotor wear.
4.Regular maintenance:
Check the seals and bearings to ensure the normal operation of the pump.
