Cam rotor pump is a special form of positive displacement pump that combines the characteristics of cam pump and rotor pump. Cam rotor pump is a special form of positive displacement pump that combines the characteristics of cam pump and rotor pump. It utilizes a pair of synchronously rotating cam rotors (usually two or three blades) to transport liquids by continuously changing their volume. This pump is suitable for handling high viscosity media, shear sensitive liquids, and materials containing solid particles.





Working Principle:

1.Rotating motion:


A cam rotor is composed of two or more blade shaped cams, which are driven to rotate by synchronous gears.


Maintain a certain gap between the two rotors and avoid contact with each other.




2.Liquid transportation:


The volume change formed by the rotation of the rotor draws in liquid.


The liquid is wrapped between the rotor and the pump casing, and is pushed towards the outlet as the rotor rotates.




3.Sealing performance:


High precision clearance design between rotors and between rotors and pump casing to prevent liquid backflow and ensure delivery efficiency.
