ZFT Self-Priming Fluoroplastic Magnetic Drive Pump

The JUSH ZFT Series is a self-priming, seal-less magnetic drive pump designed for transferring compatible corrosive, volatile, hazardous and high-value liquids. It combines the suction capability of a self-priming pump with a magnetic coupling that eliminates the conventional dynamic shaft seal.

The pump uses a steel-lined F46 wetted construction and a direct-coupled motor design. It is intended for chemical unloading, low-level tank transfer, acid and alkali circulation, and other applications where reducing external leakage risk is important.

How the ZFT Magnetic Pump Works

The ZFT Series uses magnetic force to transmit torque from the motor to the internal rotating assembly. The external magnet rotates with the motor, while the internal magnet drives the impeller through a sealed isolation sleeve.

Because no rotating shaft passes through the pump casing, the design removes the conventional dynamic shaft seal. This reduces leakage points associated with seal wear and makes the pump suitable for handling corrosive, volatile and hazardous liquids.

The integrated self-priming chamber retains liquid after initial priming and allows the pump to draw liquid from a source below the pump inlet.

Installation Requirements

For stable operation and reliable self-priming performance:

  • Install the pump on a rigid and level foundation.

  • Keep the suction pipe short and straight.

  • Use airtight suction piping.

  • Avoid unnecessary elbows near the inlet.

  • Support the inlet and outlet pipes independently.

  • Prevent piping loads from acting on the pump connections.

  • Fill the pump chamber before initial startup.
